Job summary

My Guardian in Ardlethan NSW is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our supportive team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, offering companionship, assisting with daily tasks, and supporting independence for clients in their homes.

You will carry out light domestic duties, monitor health changes, maintain accurate records, and work with safeguarding and privacy in mind. A positive attitude and reliability are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one.
