Job summary

My Guardian seeks compassionate Home Care Workers to join our Armidale NSW team, providing person-centred care, companionship, and light domestic tasks to help clients live with dignity and independence at home.

Travel to Ebor NSW 2453 may be required; we value reliability and a caring approach, with opportunities for sponsorship, permanent roles, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and home safety.
• Experience transporting clients to appointments, shopping and social activities to promote independence.
• Ability to document services and report incidents clearly and promptly.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• Current First Aid Certificate; police check required or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS check is required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:.

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
