Job summary

My Guardian Group in Murwillumbah, NSW, is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients, promote dignity and independence, and support daily living activities.

The role involves companionship, light domestic tasks, assisting with transport to appointments, and maintaining accurate care records. A Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is preferred, along with checks such as NDIS, First Aid, and police clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Valid police check, or willing to obtain one
