My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to provide person-centred care in Matraville, NSW 2036. The role involves companionship, light domestic tasks, and helping clients maintain dignity, independence, and comfort.

Qualifications include domestic assistance experience, transport support, and a Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care (or equivalent). A valid First Aid certificate and police check are desirable; NDIS check is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one.
