Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our supportive team on a casual/vacation basis, covering Central Coast NSW. You will provide person-centred care, companionship, and assist with daily living tasks to help clients live with dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, health monitoring, record keeping, and safe transport assistance. Aged and/or Disability Care background is valued, and ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
