Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our supportive team in Woolgoolga, NSW, delivering person-centred care with dignity, comfort, and independence for clients across ages and abilities. You will provide companionship, help with light domestic tasks, assist with transport to appointments, and maintain accurate care records while safeguarding privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Strong ability to document services and complete reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
