Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a caring Carer to provide compassionate, person-centred support in Inverell, NSW. You will offer companionship, assist with light household tasks, and monitor health or wellbeing, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times.

Travel to Inverell NSW 2360 may be required. Training and development opportunities are available, with a supportive team culture and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Experience transporting clients to appointments and social activities.
• Ability to record services and incidents accurately per policy.
• Current First Aid Certificate is a plus.
• Valid police check, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:.

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
