Job summary

My Guardian in NSW is looking for a compassionate Home Care Worker to provide person-centred in‑home support, companionship, light domestic duties, and transport assistance as needed. The role requires you to travel to Gerringong NSW 2534 and work as part of a supportive team.

You will maintain accurate care records, protect privacy, and uphold safeguarding standards while promoting client independence and dignity. A valid First Aid certificate and background checks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to document services, incidents, and reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
