Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care for clients in and around Ebor NSW (postcode 2453). You will travel to client homes, offer emotional support, assist with daily tasks, and help maintain independence and dignity.

Ideal candidates have related experience and a Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care; NDIS and First Aid are preferred. Sponsorship and permanent opportunities may be available, with flexible scheduling to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and maintaining a safe home.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Strong ability to accurately document services and complete reports per regulatory requirements.
• Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• NDIS Check or willingness to obtain one; First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.

• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.

• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus

• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one

• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care

• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
