Job summary

Australian Unity Limited seeks Experienced Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home care to clients in Nowra NSW and surrounding areas. You will assist with everyday tasks and support independence in clients' own homes.

We offer a permanent part-time or casual contract, a competitive hourly wage of AUD 32.61–36.59 plus 12% super, travel allowance, paid travel time, and a fully supported induction. Smartphone and uniform are provided to start.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care settings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rosters Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families, observe and support.
• Safety Practices: follow health and safety guidelines to keep clients safe.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in Nowra NSW and surrounding areas including -Kangaroo Valley, Berry, Cambewarra, Bomaderry, Meroo Meadow, Bangalee, Badagarang, Terara, North Nowra, West Nowra, South Nowra, Worrigee, Brundee, Nowra Hill, Pyree, Mayfield, Comberton, Watersleigh, Parma, Shoalhaven Heads, Culburra Beach, Greenwell Point, Falls Creek.

Your New Role

• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
