Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking entry-level carers to support elderly clients at home in the Wagga Wagga area. Duties include domestic tasks and personal support, with a focus on friendly, compassionate care.

Training is provided, and travel to training locations is required. The role offers permanent part-time hours (20–30 per fortnight) and an hourly rate of 34.80 AUD plus 12% super and a per-km travel allowance.

Qualifications

• 3 months domestic experience
• Australian Driver's Licence with own car
• Live in or near Wagga and Coolamon NSW
• Available to work 6 hours a day 8am–6pm Mon–Fri (flexible)
• Commitment to 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training; travel required
• Note: NOT a vacancy for disability care or facility/nursing home

• Provide domestic assistance at clients' homes, including cleaning, vacuuming, laundry and meal preparation
• Be a friendly face and brighten clients' day
• Deliver compassionate care and support as part of home-based services

• Live in or near Waggaand Coolamon NSW
• Open to candidates with 3 months domestic experience
• Hold a currentAustralian Drivers' Licencewith yourown car(sorry, we cannot accept International license's or shared/rental vehicles)
• Available towork a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday - but we are flexible for the right candidate!
• Commitmentto our paid2-week Brilliant @ Basics Trainingwhen you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
