Job summary

Australian Unity in Australia is offering entry-level home care roles to support elderly clients living independently at home. This permanent part-time position involves domestic tasks and companionship, with training provided and travel required for certain assignments.

You will work 6 hours daily (8am–6pm, Mon–Fri) across 20–30 hours per fortnight, with an hourly rate of 34.80 AUD plus 12% super and travel reimbursements. A current driver's license with own car is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months domestic care experience or more preferred.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with own car.
• Available for 6 hours per day between 8am–6pm, Mon–Fri.
• Permanent Part-Time contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance at clients' homes (cleaning, laundry, meal prep).
• Be a friendly, supportive presence to brighten clients' days.

• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
