Job summary

Australian Unity in the Tamworth region is seeking a part-time community care worker to support older Australians living at home. You will provide domestic tasks, personal care, medication assistance, social support and companionship.

Applicants must have 3+ months of aged care experience, hold a valid Australian driver's licence with their own car, and be available to work at least 6 hours daily between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some weekend rosters.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You

• Live across the Tamworth area including Bithramere, Calala, Dungowan, Hallsville, Hillvue, Kootingal, Moonbi, Moore Creek, Oxley Vale, Taminda, Wallamore, Westdale and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
