Job summary

Australian Unity is hiring a caring and dedicated professional to provide in-home support for older Australians. You will perform domestic tasks, personal care, medication assistance and social companionship to help clients maintain independence and quality of life.

The role offers permanent part-time employment with a 40-hour fortnightly schedule during daytime hours, along with paid induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day, 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Kincumber area including Bensville, Daleys Point, Davistown, Empire Bay, Green Point, Hardys Bay, Killcare, Pretty Beach, Saratoga, St Huberts Island, Wagstaffe, Yattalunga and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (one weekend per month availability required)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 40hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
