Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking care staff to help older Australians live independently at home across the Pottsville area and nearby communities. You will provide domestic tasks, personal care and companionship, delivering high-quality, person-centred support during home visits.

The role offers permanent part-time contracts with 30 hours per fortnight plus flex up shifts, paid induction, and ongoing training. Applicants must have a valid Australian driver's licence and access to a car, and be

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Pottsville area including Burringbar, Cabarita Beach, Casuarina, Crabbes Creek, Cudgera Creek, Hastings Point, Mooball, Round Mountain, Sleepy Hollow and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 30 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
