Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a caring professional to join a supportive team serving older Australians (65+) in their homes around Taree, NSW. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including domestic tasks, personal care, medication assistance, and social support, helping clients live independently at home.

Applicants must have 3+ months paid aged care experience, hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence with their own car, and be available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day

Job description

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Taree area including Blackhead, Cedar Party, Chatham, Cundletown, Diamond Beach, Hallidays Point, Koorainght, Nabiac, Red Head, Tallwoods Villiage, Tinonee, Wingham and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
