Lumus Imaging Sandgate is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team in a permanent, full-time role. The position is based at our Sandgate clinic with occasional travel to nearby sites for coverage.

We value exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are looking for someone with strong communication, organisational and data entry skills to support our patients and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail required.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and manage front desk enquiries to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate and manage medical imaging bookings for inpatient and outpatient appointments.
• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
• Maintain accurate patient records and data entry with precision.
• Liaise with patients, medical professionals, referring practitioners and internal teams.
• Process billing and related transactions (Medicare, DVA, health funds, WorkCover).
