Job summary

Lumus Imaging Nundah is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team. This casual role involves front desk duties, bookings, patient check-in, and handling enquiries across several Brisbane clinics.

Shifts rotate across Nundah, Sandgate, Peninsula Private and other sites; travel between locations is required. The ideal candidate has healthcare reception experience, great communication, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, administration or customer service, preferably in healthcare.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries.
• Coordinate and manage medical imaging bookings for inpatient and outpatient appointments.
• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
• Maintain accurate patient records and data entry with a high level of attention to detail.
• Liaise effectively with patients, medical professionals, referring practitioners, and internal teams.
• Process billing and banking tasks, including Medicare, DVA, health funds, and WorkCover transactions.
