Job summary

Lumus Imaging – Nundah is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a friendly team in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week) covers a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings as required.

Based in Nundah, you will travel to cover other clinics as needed, delivering excellent patient service, managing bookings, billing tasks and data entry with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries.
• Coordinate and manage medical imaging bookings for inpatient and outpatient appointments.
• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties.
• Maintain accurate patient records and data entry with a high level of attention to detail.
• Liaise effectively with patients, medical professionals, referring practitioners, and internal teams.
• Process billing and banking tasks, including Medicare, DVA, health funds, and WorkCover transactions.

About the role

Lumus ImagingNundah are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their friendly and welcoming team. This is a permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week), working shifts between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday and 8:00am to 12:00pm Saturdays.

This role is based in Nundah and will require travel to other clinics, including Sandgate and Kippa-Ring, to provide coverage if required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
