RAFI URBNSURF by Applejack Hospitality is seeking a Head Waitstaff to join our premium dining team at Sydney Olympic Park. This full-time role offers a clear progression path and a competitive salary within a vibrant hospitality group.

You will lead a section, greet guests, coordinate orders, mentor junior staff, and ensure health, safety and RSA compliance while delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a comparable restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails.
• Ability to work under pressure during high-volume service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• RSA certificate is required.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a section of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
• Greet, seat, and engage with guests, providing professional and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Take and coordinate food and beverage orders with detailed knowledge of menus and wine pairings.
• Oversee and support junior wait staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback.
• Manage table allocations, coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements.
• Contribute to maintaining service standards and supporting overall restaurant operations.
