Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited seeks a Technical Services Manager for Beta Hunt, our flagship underground operation in Western Australia. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across Mine Planning, Production Engineering, Geotechnical, Survey and Ventilation to deliver safe, practical and value-focused mine plans that support today’s operations and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mining Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Extensive underground hard rock mining experience.
• Strong capability in mine design, scheduling and Life of Mine planning.
• Sound understanding of geotechnical, ventilation, survey and mine infrastructure functions.
• Experience managing technical risk, reconciliation and planning governance processes.
• Desirable: First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.
• Desirable: AusIMM membership or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe technical outcomes in line with site safety systems, legislation and statutory obligations.
• Oversee Mine Planning, Production Engineering, Geotechnical, Survey and Ventilation disciplines across planning horizons.
• Deliver safe, practical and economically robust mine designs and schedules.
• Partner with Operations to translate mine plans into safe and effective execution.
• Ensure geotechnical, ventilation, survey and infrastructure requirements are integrated into mine plans.
• Drive technical governance through risk management, design reviews and change control processes.
• Oversee mine reconciliation, production tracking, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Manage Technical Services budgets, workforce planning and contractor performance.
