Job summary

GSN Family Investment Pty Ltd. T/A 107 Coffee Terminal & Tex-Mex Bar Jimboomba in Jimboomba, QLD is seeking a skilled, full-time Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver high-quality dishes.

The role involves menu execution, food safety, staff supervision, stock management and ongoing menu development. Suitable candidates with a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery are preferred and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and OH&S regulations.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to the menu and established recipes.
• Monitor quality of raw and cooked food.
• Oversee kitchen operations and coordinate activities.
• Control temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
• Ensure seasonal menus and price changes maintain overhead costs.
• Manage stock inventory and ordering of high-quality ingredients.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene and OH&S standards.
