Job summary

Swissôtel Sydney, a luxury five‑star hotel in the heart of the city, seeks a Guest Service Allrounder to join our Front Office team. You will warmly welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, and assist with requests to create memorable experiences.

Ideal candidates have Front Office experience in luxury settings, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays. Opera or Opera Cloud experience is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with prompt, courteous check-in and check-out.

• Ensure timely delivery of guest amenities and protect guests' belongings.
• Handle enquiries via telephone and email from in-house and external guests.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage and Housekeeping for guest movements and activities.
• Meet and exceed guest expectations and handle complaints professionally.

Swissôtel Sydney is looking to welcome Guest Service Allrounder (Full-time / Part-time) to join our growing Front Office team. As Guest Service Allrounder, your mission is to ensure our guests enjoy their stay with us through providing warm, responsive and luxury service.

The Role

Welcoming guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, courteous and efficient check in and check out

Assisting guests with requests and creatingmemorable experiences

Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of guest amenities and ensuring the security of our guests and their possessions

Assist in house and external guests via telephone call and email enquiries

Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities

Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and confident handling of customer complaints in anefficient and proactive manner

What we are looking for

A natural ability to authentically connect with people

Previous Front Office experience within a luxury environment is desirable

Previous experience with Opera or Opera Cloud is favourable

Exceptional communication skills

Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, evenings and public holidays

A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for people
