Job summary
Travel + Leisure Co. Ballarat resort is seeking a Guest Service Generalist to support front office and guest services. You will welcome Owners and Guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, assist with reservations and respond to inquiries while guiding guests toward onsite sales presentations.
The role involves light cafe-style duties, cash handling, and night-audit tasks with a friendly, proactive attitude. A current RSA and Food Safety certificate are required, along with a driver’s license
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel reception, guest services, customer service or a sales-focused environment.
- A natural ability to build rapport and confidently start conversations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome Owners and Guests and assist throughout their stay.
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest enquiries.
- Build rapport with guests and identify opportunities to invite them to an onsite sales presentation.
- Explain the presentation experience and secure guest bookings.
- Work towards presentation booking targets while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries.
