Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to join our hotel team in Australia. You will welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, process transactions, and contribute to a warm, efficient front desk experience across EVT properties such as Rydges and Atura.

With 1+ years in a GSA role, you’ll coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations and other departments, deliver professional service, maintain accurate guest accounts, and uphold WHS standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a GSA in a hotel or similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver warm, professional, and efficient guest service.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in front office operations including check-in/out and handling guest accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with other departments in the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, providing warm welcomes and farewells, and promptly responding to requests, messages, and concerns.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, including accurate check-in/check-out, cashiering, daily transactions, and opening/closing duties in line with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure rooms, special requests, and guest expectations are fully met.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, packages, and local area knowledge to confidently assist guests and maximise service quality.
• Uphold hotel policies, WH&S standards, training requirements, and equipment care while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
