Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager for Integrated Laboratory Workflows. You will drive growth by identifying and commercialising integrated workflow solutions across Australia and New Zealand.

You will partner with commercial, service and business leaders to accelerate adoption, expand customer penetration and manage a robust, cross‑divisional pipeline. The role requires strong communication, strategic planning and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, strategic sales, account management or market development.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
• Experience in analytical, environmental, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food testing or industrial labs (highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Strong business development, consultative selling and commercial acumen.
• Strategic planning, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to collaborate across divisions in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the ANZ workflow growth strategy.
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across divisions.
• Partner with commercial, service and business leaders to accelerate workflow adoption.
• Forecast and report on pipeline and performance.
• Identify market insights and emerging workflow opportunities.
• Represent Thermo Fisher at industry events to generate opportunities.
