Job summary

Bdo In Australia, Brisbane-based, is seeking a driven graduate to join the energy management consultancy’s sales team as a business development manager. You’ll research and qualify business prospects, reach decision makers, and work toward closing deals.

The role offers a base salary with uncapped commissions and a strong development pathway, plus ongoing coaching. You’ll benefit from a collaborative culture and exposure to the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Proven outbound calling and 360 sales experience.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Able to meet KPIs and manage high daily call volumes.
• Strong verbal and written communication with good record keeping.
• Coachable, proactive and team‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify business prospects using LinkedIn, web tools and CRM.
• Qualify leads against location, size, industry and budget.
• Make outbound calls to introduce the client and assess interest.
• Run discovery calls and close deals.
• Record detailed notes in Salesforce and share insights with Sales and Marketing.
