Job summary

ICON Engineering Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking a senior sales/commercial professional to drive the full sales cycle for Rig Mods and Equipment, including prospecting, tendering, and contract negotiations across domestic and international markets.

You will leverage engineering credibility to guide clients through technical detail, manage CRM opportunities, and collaborate with Growth Function and project teams to convert problems into commercial solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil/Structural or Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or MBA.
• Strong understanding of offshore oil and gas, MODU operations, and related equipment.
• Proven experience in sales, cost estimating, proposals and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships across domestic and international markets.
• Prepare tenders, cost estimates, and commercial proposals meeting gross margin targets.
• Negotiate contracts through to handover to delivery teams.
• Support Growth Function with new-client opportunities and partnerships.
• Contribute to ICON's sales and marketing strategy.
