Job summary
ICON Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse range of offshore and onshore projects for major oil and gas clients. You will manage brownfield and greenfield design work, from concept through to construction, including overseeing fabrication, installation and site activities.
You will work autonomously or lead a small team, applying industry codes (DNV, API, ISO, AISC) and structural software (SPACE GASS, SACS, Strand 7) to deliver safe, constructible
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
- Structural engineering experience from concept through to installation.
- Experience in detailed structural design on brownfield oil and gas projects.
- Offshore site experience with safe, constructible solutions.
- Familiarity with offshore codes (DNV, API, ISO, AISC).
- Proficiency with SPACE GASS and related software.
- Willingness to travel offshore for short durations.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design across offshore and onshore projects.
- Oversee fabrication, construction and installation.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
