Job summary

ICON Engineering is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for Rig Mods and Equipment based in Perth. You will drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, leveraging your engineering credibility to explain technical details to clients.

The role includes domestic and international travel, tendering, cost estimates, and close collaboration with the Growth Function to win opportunities and build lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, or MBA.
• Strong knowledge of offshore oil and gas industry.
• Experience in sales, cost estimating, and tender submissions.
• Proven business development and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships domestically and internationally.
• Prepare tenders, cost estimates, and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate contracts through to handover to delivery teams.
• Manage opportunities in the CRM and track next actions.
• Collaborate with Growth Function on partnerships and market opportunities.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
