ICON Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time role at our Perth, Western Australia office. You will work on a diverse mix of offshore and onshore infrastructure projects for major oil and gas clients, with opportunities to lead, own project outcomes, and contribute to commercial aspects of project management.

The role involves autonomous work, potential to oversee a small team, and travel offshore for short durations.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with 8+ years in oil and gas.
• Experience from conceptual design through to installation.
• Offshore site experience across oil and gas facilities; practical, constructible solutions preferred.
• Familiarity with offshore codes and specifications (DNV, API, ISO, AISC) preferred; SPACE GASS knowledge required; SACS/Strand 7 desirable.

ICON Engineering Pty Ltd are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time position based at our office in Perth, Western Australia.

About The Opportunity

As a Senior Structural Engineer for ICON you will be challenged by a diverse range of projects for major national and international oil and gas clients. You will be presented with a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in the areas of offshore and onshore infrastructure, floating/fixed platform design and modifications, specialised equipment design and field developments.

Working autonomously, overseeing a small team on larger projects or as the sole engineer on a smaller project, you will be required to solve complex problems with innovative design solutions including overseeing the fabrication, construction, and installation of your solutions.

About You

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum 8 years' structural design experience in oil and gas, offshore, or resources.
• Structural Engineering project experience from conceptual design through to installation.
• Experience in detailed structural design on brownfield oil and gas projects, including producing calculations and reports, is ideal, but we are open to other related industry experience.
• Proven offshore site and practical experience across oil and gas facilities, with the ability to translate structural designs into safe, constructible solutions ideal.
• Being well versed with current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC , is preferred, but we can work with you to bring you up to speed.
• Proficient with SPACE GASS or equivalent structural engineering software.
• Working knowledge of SACS, Strand 7 or equivalent software is also desirable.
• Flexibility to travel offshore for short durations is highly desirable.
