Job summary

Conquest Personnel Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Sydney team. You will represent a global brand, manage an autonomous NSW territory and drive capital equipment opportunities from enquiry to delivery.

You will build long-term customer relationships across mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors, read technical specs, prepare proposals and present engineered solutions to clients with a strong focus on achieving targets and enhancing revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or sales engineering of capital equipment.
• Background in Vacuum, pumps, Blowers or industrial machinery highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and existing customer relationships across NSW.
• Sell industrial and capital equipment solutions into mining, industrial and manufacturing sectors.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and solution recommendations.
• Conduct client visits, site inspections and technical presentations.
• Work closely with internal engineering and service teams.
• Manage sales pipeline and project opportunities from enquiry to close.
• Identify opportunities to support growth.

This role will suit a technically minded sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and managing solution-based capital equipment sales from initial enquiry through to project delivery.

About you:

• Previous experience in technical sales, sales engineering, capital equipment sales, original equipment manufacturer.
• Background in Vacuum, pumps, Blowers or industrial machinery highly regarded
• Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building ability
• Ability to read technical specifications and provide engineered solutions
• Self-motivated with strong territory management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Current driver's licence
