Job summary

ICON Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time role at our Perth, Western Australia office. You will work on a diverse mix of offshore and onshore infrastructure projects for major oil and gas clients, with opportunities to lead, own project outcomes, and contribute to commercial aspects of project management.

The role involves autonomous work, potential to oversee a small team, and travel offshore for short durations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with 8+ years in oil and gas.
• Experience from conceptual design through to installation.
• Offshore site experience across oil and gas facilities; practical, constructible solutions preferred.
• Familiarity with offshore codes and specifications (DNV, API, ISO, AISC) preferred; SPACE GASS knowledge required; SACS/Strand 7 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee projects from concept through construction.
• Solve complex structural design problems with innovative solutions; supervise fabrication, construction and installation.
• Oversee small teams on larger projects or act as sole engineer on smaller projects.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to project management and commercial aspects.
