Job summary

ICON Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an oil and gas industry professional to manage offshore projects with a strong focus on procurement, vendor management and expediting. You will oversee fabrication items, high-spec equipment, and offshore mobilisation, reporting to the Project Manager/Package Lead and coordinating with clients and vendors to deliver practical solutions.

Required are tertiary engineering qualifications with 10+ years in the oil and gas sector, offshore project delivery

Qualifications

• Detailed engineered design knowledge and familiarity with offshore design codes, standards and specifications.
• Procurement and vendor/subcontractor management including scoping RFQs/POs, evaluating tenders and ensuring contractual/technical requirements are met.
• Proven track record in vendor performance for fabrication and supply of high-spec equipment and items with proactive expediting.
• Experience developing, reviewing and managing ITPs and coordinating inspection activities with vendors and clients.
• Experience in offshore mobilisation activities, including pre-mobilisation inspections and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, expediting and delivery of fabricated items and offshore equipment to meet project KPIs.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
• Coordinate offshore mobilisation activities and liaise with client logistics teams.
• Deliver on project plans, cost control and schedule targets across multi-discipline offshore projects.
• Provide technical support during installation stages and site implementation.
