Job summary

Bluestar Global Logistics, a private Australian family-owned national company, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager in Sydney. You will drive growth by building a robust sales strategy, expanding the customer base, and forging strong relationships with clients across interstate and international markets.

You will lead a high-velocity sales process, manage a pipeline, and mentor entry-level staff while benefiting from an uncapped commission scheme and an OTE of 200k–220k plus

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a business development manager or sales executive.
• Experience selling international global forwarding solutions.
• Experience in customer support.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and CRM software such as Salesforce.
• Proficiency in English; strong market knowledge and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and manage time and planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a pipeline of leads and prospective new business customers.
• Develop growth strategy focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct research to identify customer needs and arrange meetings with prospects.
• Promote services addressing client objectives and ensure contracts compliance.
• Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices and provide after-sales support.
• Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
