Job summary

Customised Freight Solutions Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based freight solutions provider seeking a Logistics Consultant to identify and win new business across the Australian market. You will own your pipeline from first contact to close, selling a product you believe in with support from an experienced sales team.

You will build strong client relationships, analyse freight data, prepare proposals, and maintain a healthy pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales within the freight/logistics sector is essential.
• Ability to prospect, cold-call, and develop a sales pipeline from scratch.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• Comfort with numbers and data to analyse freight costs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Australian transport market.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Analyse freight data (costs, transit times, carrier performance) to find savings.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and sales presentations.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline to drive growth and hit targets.
• Keep internal systems up to date so every opportunity is tracked.
