Job summary

Jones Day seeks a dedicated IT Support (Office) Specialist to assist the Firm's Australian offices with PC and peripherals, AV/VC testing, and conference room setup. You will work with the IT Department to troubleshoot hardware, install and optimize equipment, and maintain asset records across Sydney and other national offices.

Travel to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth may be required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least two years in IT, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in computer-related field.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred.
• Knowledge of PC hardware architecture and operating systems, printers and peripherals.
• Familiarity with major PC applications (word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, telecommunications).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for PCs and peripherals across Australian Jones Day offices.
• Assemble, optimize and place PCs, printers and related equipment.
• Enter and maintain records in IT asset tracking systems.
• Set up and support conference rooms and assist with scheduled meetings.
• Assist AV/VC testing as part of the AV engineering team.
