The Support (Office) Specialist, in collaboration with the Firm IT Department, supports the technological needs across the Australian Jones Day offices. The IT Support (Office) Specialist provides support for personal computers and peripherals, including but not limited to troubleshooting of defective or inoperable components, diagnosis and eventual replacement of defective components and assistance of end-users in the proper use of hardware and software. The Specialist is responsible for the assembly, optimization and placement of personal computers, printers and other computer-related equipment, for the entry and maintenance of records in the appropriate Firm IT system(s) used to track technology assets and is required to help set up and support Conference rooms and assist customers with their scheduled meetings. The Specialist is required to assist the Firm AV engineering team with AV/VC and device testing when necessary. While based in Sydney, the role supports a national service delivery model and is required to travel periodically to Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as the business requires.
