Job summary

Mind Australia is seeking a Service Manager for the Gladstone ASUSD service. You will lead the team and oversee all aspects of recovery-oriented service delivery, ensuring high-quality care for people, families and carers in line with Mind’s practice framework.

This internal opportunity offers a full-time role until 31 December 2027, with accountability for performance, budgets and stakeholder partnerships in a supportive, evidence-based environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in mental health or community services.
• Ability to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice expertise.
• Experience managing service performance, budgets and reporting.
• Vaccination proof or willingness to obtain required vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-quality, recovery-oriented services for clients, families and carers.
• Provide leadership, coaching and supervision to Team Leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee intake, assessment, recovery planning, care reviews, staffing and rostering.
• Manage service performance, budgets, reporting, and compliance with policies.
• Build partnerships with clinical services, community organisations and government agencies.
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture valuing lived experience and continuous improvement.
