Job summary

Mind Australia is seeking a compassionate and motivated Lead Practitioner - Family Engagement to join our Adult Step-Up Step-Down residential service in Bundaberg on a fixed-term, part-time basis (32 hours per week).

In this role you will provide practice leadership, coach staff, support families and carers, and collaborate with clinical and community partners to promote recovery-oriented outcomes and meaningful engagement across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people experiencing mental ill health and complex needs.
• Experience in family engagement and family-inclusive practice.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and support practitioners.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to provide proof of vaccination or willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with health partnership requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients through recovery planning and family-inclusive practice.
• Support families and carers through education, advocacy and participation in recovery planning.
• Coach, mentor and support practitioners to deliver recovery-focused services.
• Plan, facilitate and evaluate group programs focused on recovery and wellbeing.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical teams and community services for referrals and coordinated outcomes.
• Lead family engagement initiatives and contribute to continuous practice improvement.
