Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in Australian mining, with gold exposure preferred.
• Strong background in mining engineering, geology or related technical disciplines.
• Proven track record building technical teams and governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting or coordinating multiple open pit mining operations.

Forrestania Resources is embarking on a transformational growth phase, rapidly transitioning from junior explorer to emerging mid-tier gold producer. With plans to bring three open pit gold mining operations into production within the next 12 months, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager - Technical Services to establish and lead our corporate technical function from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director and Managing Director, this newly created executive role will be instrumental in building the technical frameworks, leadership capability, governance systems and development strategies required to support the Company's aggressive growth objectives.

The Role

As General Manager - Technical Services, you will provide strategic leadership across:

• Open Pit Mine Planning & Technical Studies
• Environmental & Regulatory Management
• Mineral Resource & Ore Reserve Governance
• Corporate Technical Standards & Reporting

Starting with a largely clean slate, you will build the technical services function, establish best-practice systems and recruit and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting multiple operating open pit mines.
