Forrestania Resources is embarking on a transformational growth phase, rapidly transitioning from junior explorer to emerging mid-tier gold producer. With plans to bring three open pit gold mining operations into production within the next 12 months, we are seeking an exceptional General Manager - Technical Services to establish and lead our corporate technical function from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director with strong interaction with the Managing Director, this newly created executive role will be instrumental in building the technical frameworks, leadership capability, governance systems and development strategies required to support the Company's aggressive growth objectives.

Starting with a largely clean slate, you will build the technical services function, establish best-practice systems and recruit and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting multiple operating open pit mines.

About You

• Significant senior leadership experience within the Australian mining industry, ideally with gold experience.
• Strong background in mining engineering, geology or technical mining disciplines.
• Proven experience supporting or developing multiple open pit mining operations.
• Demonstrated success building teams, systems and technical capability in a growth-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of resource estimation, mine planning, feasibility studies and project development.
• Commercially astute with the ability to influence executive and board-level decisions.
• Passion for building organisations and creating value through technical excellence.
