Job summary

Red Hawk Casino is seeking a Count Room Clerk to maintain accurate cash handling and reporting in the count/drop area. The role requires strict adherence to gaming regulations and precise transaction reconciliation.

Responsibilities include operating cash-handling equipment, assisting with drops, and preparing detailed financial reports while ensuring daily tasks are completed on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.
• Ten-key experience preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings and extended hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of Gaming Commission laws, rules, and department policies.
• Ensures the integrity of all count room transactions.
• Removes and replaces bill validators from machines and secures them.
• Transports the secured cart to the count room with security.
• Assists in slot and kiosk drops, counts money, and reconciles revenue.
• Prepares and verifies reports (sell sheets, transfer/buy sheets, cover sheets) and reconciles totals.
• Maintains records in the Count/Drop Area of the Finance Department.
• Researches disputes to resolve issues.
