Job summary

Red Hawk Casino is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to welcome guests, manage seating, and assist with the dining reservations system in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

You will answer phones, present menus, verify reservations, take guest beverage orders in Buffet and Ala Carte settings, process payments where applicable, and maintain a professional, polished appearance and conduct to uphold venue standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of fast food/quick service cashier experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Handles initial cordial reception to guests upon arrival and escort to dining table.
• Advises guests of waiting time during reservations.
• Assists with restaurant seating and reservation system.
• Takes guest beverage orders in buffet environment and informs of offerings.
• Seats guests in à la carte environment and presents menus.
• Answers telephones and takes reservations.
• Verifies reservations and any compliments, if applicable.
• Receives payment from casino guests in a prompt and courteous manner, if applicable.
• Adheres to cash control policies and procedures.
• Answers guest questions and refers to management when needed.
• Maintains podium by stocking supplies and cleaning as needed.
• Assists with special requests when applicable.
• Answers questions concerning food offerings, hours, and pricing.
• Maintains professional grooming and appearance per policy.
• Monitors guest needs and fulfills requests promptly.
• Maintains rapport with marketing hosts and communicates needs to prioritize services.
• Demonstrates promptness and courtesy to guests in line with venue standards.
• Helps record preferential information in the reservation system for future service.
• Uses guest’s name where applicable.
• Maintains menu knowledge.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
