Job summary

Lumus Imaging is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Receptionist at our Belconnen/Canberra clinic. You will greet patients, manage arrivals and queries, schedule appointments across imaging services, and assist with billing and records to ensure a smooth patient journey.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception or customer service is preferred.
• Medical or radiology experience is a bonus, but not essential.
• Warm, calm and professional manner with patients.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and managing arrivals with warmth and efficiency.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments across imaging modalities.
• Processing Medicare, DVA and private billing accurately.
• Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow.
• Working closely with clinical staff to keep the day running seamlessly.

About the role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their entire visit. Your day will include:

• Handling phone and email enquiries from patients and referrers
• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting smooth clinic flow

About you

• Strong attention to detail and confidence with computer systems
