Job summary

Active Recruitment Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an ICT Service Desk Officer on a contract with immediate start to support a school environment. You will be the frontline for technical issues affecting students and staff, resolving tickets and guiding users to practical solutions.

Working within a fast-paced ICT team, you’ll deploy devices, assist with AD, Office 365, and cloud services, and help with IT projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT support or service desk (Level 1/2).
• School/education experience a plus with Working with Children Check.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.
• Excellent communication with a friendly, patient approach.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and device deployment desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for ICT support.
• Troubleshoot Level 1 & 2 issues across hardware, software, networks.
• Log, track, and manage tickets through to resolution.
• Escalate complex issues when required.
• Assist with system administration and device deployment.
• Collaborate with staff and students to improve services.
