EVT Group’s QT Newcastle hotel is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead daily front desk operations, ensure seamless guest experiences, and mentor team members. You’ll oversee room availability, rates, billing, and guest concerns with a focus on service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of supervisory front office experience, fluency with Opera PMS and MS Office, strong communication, and a proactive, guest‑oriented mindset. Day‑one perks apply across EVT hotels and partners.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hotel front office operations, ideally in supervision.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service with professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of Property Management Systems (Opera) and MS Office.
• Interpersonal and communication skills, with strong problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and prompt resolution of guest needs and concerns.
• Supervise and support Front Office team members, providing guidance during peak periods and fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Monitor room availability, rate accuracy, and billing instructions to maximise occupancy, revenue, and compliance with credit policies.
• Liaise with Finance to ensure adherence to credit procedures and approve discounts, rebates, and upgrades where appropriate.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to maintain 'Room Ready on Arrival' standards and deliver personalised amenities for VIP and EVT PGR guests.
• Drive revenue opportunities by identifying and implementing promotional strategies in collaboration with hotel outlets and partners.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, uniform, and professional conduct across front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of Front Office colleagues, ensuring engagement through briefings, recognition, and team-building activities.
