Job summary

EVT is seeking a capable Front Office leader in Sydney to manage daily operations, coach frontline teams and ensure exceptional guest service across our hotel portfolio.

This 12‑month maternity leave contract starts at the beginning of October and requires flexibility across AM/PM shifts and weekend work, with RSA certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Join EVT and help drive outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in hotel front office operations.
• Understanding of occupancy and yield management to maximise ADR and revenue.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets and costs.
• Experience handling guest feedback and service improvement.
• RSA certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Flexible to work AM/PM shifts, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Front Office operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager.
• Coach team on service values to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Coordinate staffing across departments to meet needs and budget.
• Maintain lobby visibility during VIP and group arrivals.
