EVT - Entertainment | Ventures | Travel is recruiting an Assistant Front Office Manager for its Sydney property. You will support the Front Office Manager, lead the front office team, and drive guest satisfaction while monitoring daily operations and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, hotel operations expertise, and profitability across departments with a focus on compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Assistant Front Office Manager or Senior Front Office in hotels.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to maintain morale and cohesion.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, policies, procedures and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest relations and coordination.
• Proficiency in budgeting, expense control and payroll considerations.
• Advanced problem-solving and crisis management capabilities with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Front Office operations to ensure service standards and policy compliance.
• Handle guest complaints and incidents with tact and timely reporting.
• Develop staffing strategies, rosters, training and performance evaluations.
• Monitor occupancy, revenue and upselling to meet financial targets.
• Ensure safety, security and WH&S compliance through audits and committees.
