Job summary

Aloft Perth in Rivervale, WA is seeking a professional Front Office Duty Manager to lead daily hotel operations and guest services. This full-time role requires seasoned leadership to oversee check-in/out, guest inquiries, and service delivery across shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in Front Office supervisory or duty-manager roles, an Approved Manager card, and a proven track record of coaching teams to meet service and financial objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a Front Office Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or equivalent hotel leadership role, and Approved Manager card.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing hotel operations and acting as the senior leader on shift.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and hold teams accountable for service, performance and standards.
• Experience handling guest escalations, service recovery and conflicts.
• Strong understanding of Front Office systems, procedures, and Marriott service standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple departments to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Assist guests during check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle general inquiries with friendly service.
• Resolve grievances and negotiate with parties when needed.
• Supervise staffing to meet guest service and financial goals.
• Be the on-shift senior leader and expert on hotel operations.
• Build relationships to drive future bookings and guest satisfaction.
